Pastor: Greg Cercone
Pastor Greg Cercone grew up in upstate New York and has been serving at EBC since the fall of 2007. Greg earned both a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg Virginia. Before coming to EBC, Greg served as a Pastoral Intern and then an Associate Pastor at churches in the upstate New York area. He and his wife Rene have been mariied since 1999 and are the parents of two cherished boys, Nathan and Luke. Besides studying the Bible, his hobbies include family activities, sports, reading, football cards, watching documentaries, and getting outdoors to enjoy God's creation.

 

Elder: Gary Tambs
Gary has been a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for 25 years. He has served in several different ministries, including: Youth Group, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Bible Community Groups. He and Kathy have 3 grown children and live in Hillsborough, NJ.

Elder: Roman Fabiyan

Roman and his family came from the Ukraine to America in 1999. He has been a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since 2000. He has served as a Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher, a Bible Community Group Leader and became an Elder in 2005. He is married to Lana and has 3 children: Gregory, Marta, and David. He lives in Manville, NJ and works in Somerset County.
 

Worship Leader: Alex Schlosser
Alex and his family have been members at Emmanuel Baptist Church since 1998. He is currenty serving as a Deacon and Worship Leader. He took over the role of Worship Leader in 2005 and plays the sax and bongos. He also has been volunteering in Youth Ministry for nearly 20 years at our church and another church. He enjoys music, bicycling, and the great outdoors.

 

Children's Ministry Director: Deb Hopkins
Deb grew up and still resides in Piscataway, NJ. She has been serving at EBC since the spring of 1996. She and her husband Bill have 2 beautiful children who were adopted since birth: Kenny (9) and Kimberly (7). Deb went to The King's College in Briarcliff Manor, NY for 1 year of Bible classes. She has been teaching children since she was 16 yrs. old in Pioneer Clubs, Sunday School, VBS, camps and Cub Scouts. She taught pre-school for 12 years and currently works part time at Randolphville School in Piscataway. Her hobbies include camping, hiking, gardening, arts and crafts, sports, puzzles and family activities.
