Emmanuel Baptist Church is serious about discipleship! That is why on Sunday evenings (or other nights of the week) we encourage our congregation to meet together in Bible Community Groups just as the early church did (Acts 2:46).  These groups meet in people's homes and are a great way for Christians to grow in their walk with Jesus as well as develop close relationships with other believers. The basic structure of these groups consist of Bible study, prayer, fellowship and food. In some groups (depending if someone in the group can play an instrument) there may be a time of singing to the Lord as well. Because a key component of our vision is to develop mature Christ followers, we offer a variety of groups to our congregation. This variety will include studies for new believers, as well as for seasoned disciples.  Each semester will bring a new batch of groups and a new choice of topics that will be sure to meet the needs and desires of all who are interested. If you would like to know more about participlating in one of our Bible Community Groups, please contact us and we would be thrilled to plug you into a group that you can connect in!
